10th Annual Outdoor Summer League July 8 - August 7, 2025
Open to rising athletes grades 1 - 8 (your athlete must be entering 1st grade as of Sept 2025) - Athletes should have some kind of prior basketball experience to participate in this league. If your athlete is brand new to the sport (Grades K-3) or has very little game experience; consider our summer mini baller clinics.
Here at Fusion School of Basketball we hold the importance of fundamental development through game experience very high. We have created an in-house community league with the goal of keeping kids developing and learning team concepts through repetitions of actual games.
PLEASE NOTE: We will draft every athlete to a team. WE DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS FOR ATHLETES TO BE ON A TEAM TOGETHER. WE GET OVER 150 KIDS THAT INDIVIDUALLY REGISTER AND DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS. NO EXCEPTIONS! A team roster & schedule with game dates & times will be posted here by July 1st. All athletes will be drafted to a team in a division based on skill level and will play among other athletes at a similar level... skill level has nothing to do with age/grade***We will make adjustments throughout the league where we see fit. We want to be sure that all athletes are in a comfortable playing environment where they can not only learn and have fun but be challenged as well.
Games begin on Tuesday July 8th and will run through Thursday August 7th.
Games are played on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings. Teams typically only play 1 game/week but may play twice in 1 week during the season. All teams will play a minimum of 6 games.
All games are played outside at Count Basie Park (CBP) Henry St Red Bank
Game times will run at 5:30p (mini division) 6p, 6:50p, 7:40p or 8:30p **a 5:15p game slot may be added on days that we need to make up games for any weather-related reasons.
Weather - if we have to cancel for weather related reasons, we will make that decision by 3p the day of. All weather-related cancelations and announcements will be posted here on our website and on our Instagram page: @Fusionschool_basketball.
Parents! Please stay outside of the gate at all times unless there is an emergency. Coach Teeigh and I each have over 20+ years of experience coaching. Please leave the coaching to us! You may think you are helping by talking to your athlete from the stands when it actually serves as a distraction. We absolutely welcome and encourage positive feedback and cheering for the athletes. Please note, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any negative feedback. We will remove any spectator that is disruptive or disrespectful. If you have an issue or question, feel free to send us an email to set up a meeting. No parent, family member or family friend should approach the bench or any coach immediately before, during or after any game for any reason unless there is an injury or emergency. We strongly recommend bringing your own chair as seating at the park is very limited**

5-6p - Grades 1 & 2
6-7p - Grades 3-5
7-8p - Grades 6-8
*Registration includes min of 6 games and league t-shirt*
$175/athlete for games only*
$300/athlete for games & skills*
